New York County Lawyers Association Statement on the

Passing of Board Member Jeffrey R. Coleman

 

New York, New York (8/09/2017) – On behalf of the New York County Lawyers Association, NYCLA President Michael J. McNamara issued this statement today regarding the passing of Board Member Jeffrey R. Coleman:

 

“We mourn the passing of our colleague and friend Jeffrey R. Coleman. A sustaining member of the association since 1999, Jeffrey was currently serving on the NYCLA board of directors. His contributions to the association were many; he served as Chair of several committees as well as having served previously on the Board of Directors in 2011-2012. Our most sincere condolences are offered to his family and colleagues. He will be greatly missed.”

 

A commercial litigator for over thirty years, Jeffrey recently joined Kantor, Davidoff, Mandelker, Twomey, Gallanty & Kokhbam P.C as a partner, after a long and successful tenure at Hughes Hubbard & Reed, LLP. He was currently serving as NYCLA’s Chair of the Joint Fee Disputer Program Advisory Committee and the Co­ Chair of the Task Force on the Need for Additional Judges.
