William Nelson Cromwell Award
The William Nelson Cromwell Award was established in 1964 under NYCLA President Leo Gottlieb, partner at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton. This award is conferred in honor of William Nelson Cromwell, one of NYCLA’s earliest and most esteemed leaders, for “unselfish service to the profession and the community.” Mr. Cromwell’s dedication to public service was renowned.
