Transgender Employee Rights

Recorded On 02/23/2017

COURSE DETAILS

As awareness and rights of transgender employees increase, employees and employers alike need to stay informed about this rapidly changing area of the law.  Transgender employees should understand their entitlements under the law, and employers must begin thinking proactively about the needs of their transgender workforce.

In this program, current practitioners will discuss legal protections for transgender employees under federal and New York City law, current litigation around bathroom use and other transgender issues, and best practices for employers with transgender employees.  Please join NYCLA’s Labor & Employment Committee and an all-star panel for a timely and informative discussion of transgender employee rights!
