Recorded On 06/02/2016

COURSE DETAILS

Join Elliott Scheinberg as he takes a detailed look at the new maintenance procedures which became law last Fall as a result of a Study conducted by the State Law Revision Commission and a panel comprised of members of different interest groups assembled by Hon. Jeffrey Sunshine  to arrive at a fair compromise.

In additional to gaining an understanding of the new procedures for determining maintenance, Vocational Expert Rona Wexler will discuss the issue of rehabilitating the non-monied spouse back into the workforce, and how to determine whether rehabilitation is even possible. Finally, financial expert Lorayne Fiorillo will discuss strategies for investing the awards to non-monied spouses, working through various hypothetical scenarios.
