This session will provide information and strategies regarding, how, when, and for whom to use the 2019 Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act to reduce prison time for your clients at both sentencing hearings and on appeal. The session will also provide tips for working with survivors who may be hesitant to discuss their past.
