Recruiting Practices in the Spotlight: What Companies Need to Know

Recorded On 04/20/2023

In this presentation, Jessica Shpall Rosen, Partner at Greenwald Doherty LLP, will talk about developments in the area of employee recruiting and hiring that impact employers in New York and beyond. We’ll discuss questions such as:

  • What are the job posting requirements if I’m hiring a remote worker?
  • Can I use AI to hire my next employee?
  • When can I rescind an offer based on criminal background?

Because recruiting risks expand the scope of potential liability, it’s more important than ever for employers to understand their recruiting legal obligations. We’ll also discuss practical steps that can be taken to mitigate and address these risks.

After the presentation there will be a chance for members of NYCLA’s Labor and Employment Committee to network with their peers and discuss any topics of interest.
