Since its inception, NYCLA has been at the forefront of most legal debates in the country. We have provided legal education for more than 40 years.
Please join us on October 15, 2026, for the 59th Charles Evans Hughes Memorial Lecture, “Presidential Material” Should Be “Supreme Court Material,” and Vice Versa: The Charles Evans Hughes Model, to be delivered by Professor John Q. Barrett.
The Lecture is sponsored by Hughes Hubbard & Reed. It was established 60 years ago to honor Charles Evans Hughes, who served as NYCLA’s Eight President, Governor of New York, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, United States Secretary of State and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
This is a hybrid event. We hope to welcome you in person at the offices of Hughes Hubbard & Reed, but a ZOOM link will be available for those who register to join remotely.
