Since its inception, NYCLA has been at the forefront of most legal debates in the country. We have provided legal education for more than 40 years.
New York, New York – The New York County Lawyers Association (NYCLA), along with the New York City Bar, The New York Council of Defense Lawyers, and several other groups, announced a rally on May 1ˢᵗ across from the 60 Center Street Courthouse in Foley Square Park. Lawyers and non-lawyers are all welcome and participants can begin congregating at 12:30 P.M.
“As lawyers and concerned citizens, it is incumbent upon us to make our voices heard. All of the organizations who worked on making this rally happen has helped to amplify this message of solidarity in support of the rule of law, our constitutional democracy and judicial independence,” commented Ronald C. Minkoff, NYCLA Vice President and primary organizer of this rally.
At this rally, lawyers will have an opportunity to re-affirm their oath to the constitution.
