NYCLA & 90210 Series: Restrictive Covenants in NY & CA: A Comparative Analysis

Recorded On 04/29/2021

COURSE DETAILS

Our NY and California panelists will compare and contrast the laws, practices, and main dos and don’ts in New York and California when drafting and enforcing non-competition and non-solicitation clauses in employment agreements.

A panel of experienced practitioners who represent both employees and management will provide guidelines on how to draft enforceable restrictive covenants in each state.  They will also explain how litigation over alleged breaches of non-competition, non-solicitation of employees, and non-solicitation of customers clauses proceeds, the tests and rules applicable to these clauses, and how these cases are often resolved in each state.
