Navigating the Final Frontier: Exploring Space Law in the Age of Space Exploration and Commercialization

Start 06/17/2024 - 6:00 PM
End 06/17/2024 - 7:50 PM

Initially space law was primarily international law covering treaties, conventions, UN General Assembly resolutions and rules and regulations of international organizations.

Now, however, with the tremendous advancement of space exploration and the growing commercialization of outer space, attorneys are finding themselves faced with legal issues arising from this new legal frontier.

Our expert speaker will trace the progression of space law and discuss the multifaceted dimensions of space law, including key areas and emerging challenges, both nationally and internationally.

Some of the current issues of space law to be discussed include:

  • Jurisdiction
  • Property Rights
  • Human Rights
  • Effects of Launches
  • Criminal Jurisdiction
  • Insurance
  • Contractual Disputes
  • … and MORE
