COURSE DETAILS
The evening will begin with a discussion of the distinctions between copyright and authors’ rights regimes, focusing on the legal frameworks governing intellectual property across international jurisdictions. The program is designed to give legal professionals a comprehensive understanding of current trends and international perspectives on seldom-explored intellectual property topics.
The second session will discuss cybersecurity threats that lawyers are facing with the trends toward online communications, online distribution of funds, remote work, virtual meetings, depositions, and hearings, as well as the precautions that should be implemented by attorneys, firms, and their clients. It will also cover responding to a data breach ethically—and more!
