COURSE DETAILS

Learn about the extraordinary life of Charles Evans Hughes and the lessons drawn from his vast legal experience.

He was a brilliant lawyer, successful Governor of New York, Secretary of State, failed presidential candidate, and served two terms as a Supreme Court Justice, including a groundbreaking term as Chief Justice of the Court. Indeed, the “Hughes Court” has been credited with transforming the Court and surviving President Roosevelt’s attempt to “pack the Court.”

Hear the story of his remarkable life, the lessons he taught, and his impact on the legal profession and the country as a whole.
