An expert panel will explore the obligations that attorneys have
in protecting their clients' confidential information and/or communications and their
legal privileges when utilizing electronic and digital means of
communicating with clients and maintaining their files and
The panel will look at various means of electronic communication,
including e-mail, twitter and snap chat, as well as discuss security and
expectation of privacy relating to encryption/ non-encryption of data, using
public and private servers and storing client information in the cloud.
