Course Description:

Join co-sponsors,  NYCLA Young Lawyers Section and The Puerto Rican Bar Association (PRBA), on Wednesday, February 5 for Blowing the Whistle: Perspectives From Both Sides, a spirited and interactive program  where you will  learn about recent trends in the issues surrounding whistleblowers from those on the front lines. The program will  present viewpoints from both the Plaintiff's and Defense sides, and moderator, Ronald Minkoff, Frankfurt Kurnit Kleinz and Selz PC, will highlight the ethical issues that arise in such cases. Panelists include:

Plaintiff Side:

Carmen Segarra, a former bank examiner and current plaintiff in a whistleblower lawsuit alleging that the Federal Reserve Bank of New York interfered with her oversight of Goldman Sachs

Linda J. Stengle,  Stengle Law, Ms. Segarra's attorney

Defense Side:

Marc Mukasey, Bracewell Giuliani

Michael Tiliakos, Duane Morris LLP
