Course Description:

Learn about U Visas -- designed to give victims of  crimes occurring in the United States or a U.S. territory,  temporary legal status in the U.S., including work eligibility, for up to 4 years.

Understand eligibility requirements, filing requirements and the need for petitioners to assist government officials in learning more about the crime they were a victim of, including a willingness to work with local law enforcement officials.
