COURSE DETAILS
This program will discuss the NYC City of Yes Housing Opportunity Program, which was adopted on December 5, 2024, to alleviate the NYC housing shortage. The Panel will review the new zoning changes and housing development rules and regulations implemented to increase accessible and affordable housing.
The panel will also address Mayor Mamdani’s new plan, “Block by Block: The Housing Plan for a New Era.”
The goal of this housing initiative is to build over 80,000 new units of NYC housing.
The process of construction, conversion, and development has already commenced, and the panel will assess the viability and success of the ongoing program of the City of Yes.
