NYCLA Wellness Event: Intro to Transcendental Meditation

NYCLA WELLNESS EVENT: INTRO TO TRANSCENDENTAL MEDITATION
PRESENTED BY

TM®  NYC DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN

EXCLUSIVELY FOR NYCLA MEMBERS

Come learn about a simple, natural, evidence-based form of meditation that can be learned by anyone in a short period of time. Transcendental Meditation (TM) has been taught around the world for over 60 years and is one of the most widely researched forms of meditation available today.

TM is an effortless mental technique practiced 20 minutes twice a day. The mind settles down to quieter levels while the body gets a deep state of rest. This experience of “restful alertness” allows the body to get rid of deep-rooted stresses while the mind becomes more calm, clear and alert.

Benefits include: reduced anxiety, normalizing of blood pressure, reduction in cardiovascular disease, increased creativity and intelligence, and improved relationships.
