This session has been postponed to May 3rd (originally scheduled for April 5th)
Program Sponsor: The Restorative Center's Restorative Justice Clemency & Parole Project (RJCP)
Faculty: Shailly Agnihotri, Esq.; Amy Dallas, Esq; Additional Panelists TBA
The first program will provide an overview of the circle experience as a means to model the circle process for restorative justice and how diversity and inclusion can vest in various contexts through use of the circle process.
Before participants of the training can implement the model or recommend it for their clients, they need to experience the model and understand its power. Participants will sit in a virtual circle, answer prompts, share stories, listen empathetically, and reflect on this new paradigm of sharing space together. Thereafter a discussion will follow on how the circle process can be utilized to foster diversity and inclusion, as well as conflict resolution, in work environments, community building, criminal justice, and law.
