*Also Session B of 3 Evening Bridge the Gap

Faculty:  Toni M. Jaeger-Fine, Assistant Dean, International and Non-J.D. Programs at Fordham Law School, Author, Becoming a Lawyer;  Daler Radjabov, NYCLA's Legal and Technology Operations Manager

In the first session of the program, Toni Jaeger-Fine will discuss the attributes of a great lawyer.

The knowledge students gain in law school is not enough to make them effective lawyers, as there is a need to develop  non-technical skills, such as managerial, communication and collaborative skills, which she deems necessary for success.

Dean Jaeger-Fine will discuss what it takes to develop a "professional persona," including :
-- establishing good habits
-- "self-management professionalism"
-- qualifications necessary for relationship building

In the second session, Daler Radjabov, NYCLA's  Legal and Technology and Operations Manage, will  discuss the  cybersecurity threats lawyers are facing with the trend toward remote work, virtual meetings and hearings, as well as the precautions that should be implemented. Some of the topics to be discussed include:
-- How to spot COVID related scams
-- How to protect your Zoom meetings
-- How to secure  your online identity
-- Protecting your data from breaches
