Barry Temkin is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a former Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, where he served as a Senior Trial Attorney in the Homicide Bureau.  Mr. Temkin is counsel to Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass in New York, where his practice includes professional liability defense litigation, products liability, securities arbitration and the law of lawyering.

Mr. Temkin is an adjunct professor at Fordham University School of Law and New York Law School, where he teaches Legal Ethics.  He has published articles on securities arbitration and attorney professionalism in the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics, Seattle University Law Review, Touro Law Review and the New York Law Journal.  Mr. Temkin has been a member of the Board of Arbitrators of FINRA (formerly the National Association of Securities Dealers) since 1999, and is chair of the New York County Lawyer’s Association Professional Ethics Committee.   Mr. Temkin has participated in panels on attorney professionalism, securities law and ethics at the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Lawyer’s Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the Practicising  Law Institute and New York Law School.

Mr. Temkin’s experience includes a wide variety of commercial arbitration and litigation, including securities arbitration, directors and officers defense, real estate, legal malpractice, legal ethics, products liability and general commercial litigation.  Mr. Temkin has represented broker dealers and registered representatives in a variety of customer and industry arbitrations.
