Course Description:

On January 8, 2014, the Division of Housing and Community Renewal adopted numerous amendments to the Rent Stabilization Code that will drastically impact the operation of rent-regulated housing. The four-year rule, individual apartment improvements, major capital improvements, apartment registrations, base-date rent determinations, preferential rents, and record-keeping obligations are among the various areas which have been significantly altered by the 2014 amendments.
