Course Description:

There are more ways than ever to market your practice. But this also means there are more traps, more ways to take a wrong path, which can be particularly devastating since lawyers don't have time to waste. How can you benefit from the best practices, and avoid the biggest headaches and ethical pitfalls?

This workshop, facilitated by Russ Korins, Director of Marketing for Cohen Tauber Spievack & Wagner and NYCLA member, Natalie Sulimani, partner, Sulimani & Nahoum, PC and Jennifer Shaheen, President & Technology Therapist, will show participants a
roadmap of important opportunities and pitfalls. We will discuss attorney biographies,
practice descriptions, effective e-mail communications, and social media -- all designed to make you a more efficient lawyer.

The panelists will also discuss ethics considerations in legal marketing. Participants will learn how to present a compelling case for their work while retaining a professional and dignified manner. Participants will come away with a better sense of where their best opportunities are and which marketing techniques it is wiser to avoid.
