This
course is designed to introduce Lexis.com users to tools and techniques for
more efficient, cost effective research using advanced features on
Lexis.com.Users will learn how to
conduct structured and strategic legal research using Lexis Headnotes,
segments, FOCUS® and terms and connectors.Users will also explore searching by legal topics, using alerts and
advanced Shepard’s® searching and be introduced to time-saving tools like Get
and Print and Shepard’s Briefcheck.Upon
completion of the course, users will know how to zero in on specific areas of
law and search across a wide variety of content types.They will also know how to easily modify and
sharpen queries, find more relevant information, and get up to the minute
alerts on new case developments.
