For attorneys new to Matrimonial Practice, or for lawyers interested in exploring the field, this program will provide an introduction to the basics—from initial client interviews to grounds, jurisdiction service, forms, court procedures and uncontested divorces.
The program will also go beyond the basics to explore agreements including prenupual, stipulation of settlement and separation, child support, custody and attorney for the child, equitable distribution, domestic violence and ethical issues facing matrimonial attorneys. The panel of experts will provide practical guidance and tips for practitioners, including a “view from the bench,” and presentations from court attorneys.
