Course Description:

In these difficult economic times, immigration law reform continues to be a contentious issue. Gain an overview of what you need to know to practice immigration law successfully and how to obtain the proper immigrant visa or "green card" for your client.

The first part of the course focuses on immigration for the business owner or employee responsible for immigration management in the corporate setting. Topics covered include non-immigrant work authorized visa categories and labor certification. General topics in employment and practical tips for managing and complying with the current immigration law are also discussed.
