Course Description:

In these difficult economic times, immigration law reform continues to be a contentious issue. Gain an overview of what you need to know to practice immigration law successfully and how to obtain the proper immigrant visa or "green card" for your client.

The second part of the course is for practitioners who want an introduction and practical tips on complying with the law and easing the burden on potential immigrants and their families. Covered are immigration defense and removal proceedings, political asylum and other topics useful for new or seasoned immigration attorneys.
