On January 8, 2014, the Division of Housing and Community Renewal
adopted numerous amendments to the Rent Stabilization Code that will
drastically impact the operation of rent-regulated housing. The four-year rule,
individual apartment improvements, major capital improvements, apartment
registrations, base-date rent determinations, preferential rents, and
record-keeping obligations are among the various areas which have been
significantly altered by the 2014 amendments.
Join us to discuss the amendments,
what they mean for your or your client's business, and how to comply with the new requirements.
