Insurance companies have been impacted by hundreds of thousands of claims arising from monster storm Sandy, all of which have to be adjusted and some of which will result in disputes between insurers and their policyholders. In addition to policy requirements, regulatory changes imposed in Sandy's wake significantly impact this process.
The program includes presentations by three insurance industry experts on key issues relating to the storm and its impact on the insurance industry and policyholders, and an insurance company executive who will speak to the effect of the storm on an insurer.
