Factual Discovery is not a database, but rather an umbrella
term that matches how litigators link the functional use of public records,
news, jury selection tools, and medical research.This course is designed to help participants
find experts, witnesses, and company information, discover strategic facts
relevant to cases; discover facts on jurors and locate witnesses to subpoena or
interview using various Lexis.com sources and features.Users will also learn how to use Jury Verdict
and Settlement reports to help determine case values, research experts and
opposing counsel, conduct judgment analysis, and be poised with insightful
information to help impeach hostile expert and witnesses.Participants will also learn how to use
medical journals to support a position on a medical injury or condition. Faculty:
