Join NYCLA's Matrimonial Law Section for a program that will focus on the techniques used to present effective direct and cross-examinations of trial witnesses, as well as other evidentiary issues. Panelists will also evaluate the procedural and substantive issues unique to orders of protection, such as:

  • burdens of proof
  • the most effective court in which to initate the proceeding; and
  • when to assert Fifth Amendment rights
