Course Description:

Join NYCLA's Matrimonial Law Section for a program that will focus on the techniques used to present effective direct and cross-examinations of trial witnesses, as well as other evicentiary issues.. 

Panelists will also evaluate the procedural and substantive issues unique to orders of protection, such as

  •  burdens of proof,
  •  the most effective court in which to initiate the proceeding, and
  • when to assert Fifth Amendment rights.
